We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
- Support conflict resolution and maintain positive employee relations.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, and policies.
- Manage HR databases and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Performance Management:
- Assist in the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
- Track employee performance and provide support for development plans.
- Compliance:
- Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in audits and reporting as required.
- Training and Development:
- Coordinate training programs and track employee participation.
- Identify training needs and support career development initiatives.
- Payroll and Benefits Support:
- Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Address employee queries related to compensation and benefits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

A candidate who has above 3 years’ experience in human resource in non-Governmental organizations (manufacturing company) is preferable.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The candidate is needed to speak and write English, Afan oromo and Amharic fluently,

Good skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and outlook). And Proficiency in HR software
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
