Jenboro Real Estate PLC is a fast-growing and reputable real estate development company committed to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including A/P, A/R, GL, and reconciliations

• Oversee tax preparation and ensure compliance with government regulations

• Conduct budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial records

• Generate periodic reports to management for strategic decision-making

• Support internal and external audits and implement recommendations

• Use accounting software (Peachtree/Sage) for transaction recording and reporting

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university

• Minimum of 6 years proven experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate or construction sector

• Strong understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations

• Proficient in Peachtree Accounting Software (Sage)

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools

• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
