General Accountant

Company Overview:

We are a new garment manufacturing facility, poised to begin operations soon. As we prepare to launch, we are building a dedicated team of professionals to support the factory setup and ongoing operations. Job Summary: 

Seeking an experienced General Accountant, to provide enough support to the Finance Manager to ensure the financial management and cost management of the Factory in line with the country regulations and Industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Budgeting and performance reports

•  Annual Budget: managing the process and formats for creating annual and semi-annual Factory updates
•  Monthly Forecast: create 3-month forward forecast of Profit & Loss

• Monthly Financial Report: collect the required data and create monthly report for on performance and expenses against forecast.
•  Analysis Request: support the Finance Manager in collecting and analyzing data for any ad-hoc financial and performance requests.

2. Cost Management

•  Cost sheet product wise, cost estimation, cost analysis

•  Fixed asset registration and follow up
•  Calculation of depreciation costs
• Cost Analyses: assist the management team in cost analyses and cost reduction exercises as needed
• ·Inventory management and its minimum order quantity
•  Major Costs: identify the Industries’ major controllable costs (e.g. Raw material, accessories, trims, excess, process, electricity, consumables, and transportation).

Experience: 

• Minimum 8 years of total experience as an accountant and about 4 years General Accountant in garment and textiles factory or other manufacturing industries.
