Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the BDD Manager, the Junior Tender Officer will assist in the tender/bid process, supporting opportunity identification, document preparation, and submission. This includes ensuring timely submission of quality proposals that meet client requirements, assisting in budget and resource management for bids, and ensuring compliance with all guidelines. The Junior Tender Officer will also stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to support bid strategies.
Description of duties:
1. Assist in the bid management process, including reviewing bid invitations   and tracking timelines.
2. Help monitor relevant platforms to identify potential tenders and opportunities.
3. Research tender requirements and deadlines, focusing on opportunities that align with the company’s objectives.
4. Support the development of bid content, including summaries, value propositions, and technical responses.
5. Work with internal teams to gather necessary information and assist in the preparation of tender documents.
6. Assist in the preparation and development of Request for Proposals (RFP) documents.
7. Track bid performance metrics and assist in analyzing data for process improvements.
8. Timely Submission: Ensure timely submission of tender documents and follow up as needed.
9. Assist in maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to explore partnership opportunities.
10. Contribute to refining and improving bid templates, processes, and best practices for efficiency.
11. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging best practices in bid management.
12. Stay updated on ADIU’s solutions and industry best practices.
13. Willingness to take training and continuously improve knowledge to align with company objectives.

Education
BSc. in computer science/ Electrical and computer engineer or relevant field of study
Work Experience

– No prior work experience required.
– Relevant experience may include internships, academic projects, or volunteer work related to business development, tendering, or sales.
– A basic understanding of tendering processes, regulations, and best practices is a plus.
– Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
– Effective communication, negotiation, and networking abilities.
