Bahir Dar Automotive Engineering Plc  is established and registered in 2021 as per Ethiopian trade and investment law to play a key role on the automotive industry. ORDA Ethiopia and its sister company Abay Construction PLC are the shareholders of the company.  It is located in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia, specializing in vehicle repairing, and related services. We are seeking dynamic, highly motivated, and skilled professionals to join our team for the following positions:

Job Summary:
The Finance and Administration Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, ensuring effective financial management, and leading the administrative functions of the company. This role will ensure that financial and administrative practices are aligned with organizational goals and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

  • Prepare and manage financial statements, reports, and audits.

  • Monitor cash flow, manage expenses, and prepare financial forecasts.

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and corporate governance standards.

  • Lead and supervise the administration team to ensure smooth operation of day-to-day activities.

  • Manage contracts, human resources functions, and organizational policies.

  • Develop and implement financial and administrative strategies to support business growth.

  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including auditors and government agencies.

Salary and Benefit Salary = 34,977.0  ; Housing Allowance = 4,500.0;  Responsibility Allowance = 3,000.0

Required:   01(one)

Required Qualifications And Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s/Masters degree in in Accounting, Computerized Accounting, Certified Accounting, Financial Accounting, Cooperative Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, Financial and Development Economics, or a related field.

  • First Degree Holder Minimum of 8 years of work experience And Second Degree Holder minimum of 6 years of work experience for at least 5 years in a responsible role in a similar organization in the finance and administration, in accountant and financial and human resource management.

Technical Skills/, Knowledge & Competencies

  • Ability to analyze technical issues, to write clear and concise reports and make effective oral presentations.

  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.

  • Strong understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Peachtree.) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Fluency in English and Amharic.
