Data Manager

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract (Initial 9-month contract with the possibility of extension)

About the Role

ACT is seeking a highly experienced Data Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data collection, management, analysis, and visualization using STATA, Kobo and digital tools. The Data Manager will work under the supervision of the Program Manager and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure data integrity and accessibility for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertise in data management, coding, and statistical analysis using STATA.
• Experience managing data with Kobo Toolbox.
• Strong background in data collection, management, and analysis for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing digital tools for data collection and analysis.
• Skilled in data visualization and reporting.
• Ability to handle large datasets while ensuring data quality and integrity.

• Master’s degree in statistics, data science, economics, social sciences, or related 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management, data analysis, statistical analysis.

• Strong background in data collection, management, and analysis for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing digital tools for data collection and analysis.
• Skilled in data visualization and reporting.
• Ability to handle large datasets while ensuring data quality and integrity.

• Fluency in English and Amharic is required; additional languages are a plus.
