Tamra for Social Development Organization (TSD) is an indigenous civil society organization that has been implementing community development programs for over 27 years across Oromia, Addis Ababa, Sidama, Central Ethiopia, and South Ethiopia regions. The organization is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the following positions:

1. Position: Youth Mobilization Officer

  • Job Grade: G3-S4
  • Location: Sodo Regional/Cluster office
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Reports To: Regional Manager
  • Salary: Negotiable
  • Number Required: 1

Role Summary:Β The Project Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of specific projects within the organization. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing resources, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to achieve project objectives effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • MA/BA in Social Science, community Development, Public Health, Education, or related field.
  • 2/5 years of experience in project coordination, Youth engagement, or community mobilization roles.
  • Experience working with youth organization, NGOs or Community based programs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
  • Fluency in English, Amharic is required.
  • Experience in South & Central Ethiopia regions is highly desirable.
