Job Summary:Â
Facilitate communication between parties who speak two different languages over an internet-supported video platform by conveying information effectively, professionally, and neutrally to ensure communication aligns with job and company expectations.Â
Weekly workload:
- At least 40 hours from late afternoon to or beyond midnight to align with the Pacific Standard Time day shift. Flexibility required to work 40 hours any time 24/7 including Holidays.Â
Place of work:Â
- Any part of Ethiopia for those who can meet the place requirement. Otherwise, Â Addis Ababa from our office facility

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- College students or graduates,
- Proficient in one or more of the above-needed languages,
- Proficient, accent-neutral, near-native English,
- Work experience in a customer service environment is advantageous,
- Good attendance record,
- Ability to sit for long hours with little breaks in between,
- Prior interpretation experience is a plus but not a required,
- Knowledge and use of PC systems/CRM and Google Search is a must.Â
Preferred Skills:
- Superior oral and written communication skills,
- Computer literacy with the ability to type a minimum of 20 WPM,
- Competency in a service organization environment,
- Ability to work independently,
- Self-motivated, willingness to constantly improve,Â
- Attention to detail and be able to multi-task and prioritize work daily,Â
- The ability to focus on a fast-paced environment while handling calls with a courteous, friendly, and well-spoken tone,
- Strong people skills and ability to communicate orally and in written form.Â
Special requirements for those wanting to operate from home:
- HIPAA-compliant spaces must be private and secure. No one can be in the room with the agent nor should anyone be able to overhear/see information from surrounding areas. The only exception for this will be for agents in a HIPAA-compliant call center.Â
- No one should see or listen to agents’ calls, nor be in the room while agents are active on the platform.Â
- Agents must connect their computer to a high-speed, private, and secure internet connection.Â
- Agents’ workspace must be a dedicated room to work. This means the surrounding environment cannot be distracting, avoid working from spaces with background noise/distractions such as pets or children, and soundproof your space to avoid background noise on calls.

- USB video camera with integrated H.264 hardware encoder to the USB Video Class (UVC) or built-in video camera with 720p or higher resolution (video agents).Â
- Graphics card must support DirectX 9.0 and must expose DXVA2_ModeH264_VLD_NoFgt decoding mode, latest graphics driver must be installed, 4 cores video encode score of 7.3 or higher.
- Reliable electricity.
- Personal quiet room for avoiding disturbing noises and interferences.Â

- Strict dressing code to be disclosed to those who will be selected
- High level of personal hygieneÂ
- Willingness to work during Ethiopian holidays as the candidates will only rest on holidays recognized in the USA.
