JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of CEO, the manager of strategy planning and performance management is responsible for the development of strategic plan, management of performance, and improvements of company’s achievement.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Take due responsibility to prepare strategic  plan

2.Follow the Implementation of  the strategic plan

3.Guide the performance evaluation of the company

4.Designed performance improvement strategy and tactics 

5.Manage  to enhance the performance of e tech 

6.Plan, organize and manage the work of the Strategic Planning Office

7.Ensure the alignment of the strategic plan with the competitive advantage of the company 

8.Assists officers under its span to Plan their own operation

9.Establish, maintain and continually review a comprehensive corporate performance management framework to ensure it remains fit for purpose

10.Plans, organizes, leads, coordinates and controls all the division’s activities

11.Guides the division’s staff on the operational policies and procedures of the company and provides coaching on difficult and complex operational issues

12.Monitors implementation of the department’s operations and ensure compliance to all regulations for department and subsidiaries and adhere to all standards for streamline processes to incorporate all government regulations

13. Lead on the annual review and target setting of performance indicators and methods to capture key business activity

14. Undertake audit checks of performance data and where necessary, co-ordinate external validation checks

15. Play a key role in assisting the teams under its responsibility to identify, develop and implement a range of various service reviews

16.  Research emerging legislation and best practice and translate these into operational procedures, guidance and policy statements as appropriate

17.Present service performance information (monitoring and identifying trends) against key indicators through a variety of means e.g. monthly performance management reports, ensuring that managers and team leaders are fully apprised of key performance trends and issues and those areas of under-performance can be effectively challenged.

18.Co-ordinate bench marking and Value for money activities to enable services to assess performance and costs across a range of peer groups and implement change as a result.

19.Assist managers and team leaders to undertake service improvements through the provision of data analysis and business intelligence

20.Research emerging legislation and best practice and translate these into operational procedures, guidance and policy statements as appropriate

21.Be responsible for the accurate collection, analysis and reporting of performance data and work in conjunction top management. Ensure that the capture and the analysis of data is complete and comprehensive in formats accessible to staff and service users

22.Perform other duties assigned to him /her by the immediate supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • MA/MBA/BA in Strategic management, Business Administration, Economics or related fields with good deal of IT knowledge

Experience:

  • 7/9yrs  of related  experience  with  extensive  knowledge  and  experience  in  strategic planning

Additional Training:

  • IT,ICT, or Computer training certificate

Competencies/ Personal attributes:

  • Demonstrate commitment to the vision, mission, core values, aims and principles of eTech.
  • Experience of developing and reviewing policies and strategies
  • Analytical, literacy and numeracy skills sufficient to research, interpret, compile and write performance reports
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze financial and statistical data
  • Experience of using core business IT systems and the ability to extract data and reports from them, including a performance management
  • Ability to identify, retrieve and interpret information from a variety of sources to produce reports on performance status to multiple audiences
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a simple and easy to understand manner
  • Experience of working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and targets, demonstrating an ability to achieve despite constraints or obstacles
