Position Overview:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges, enabling them to achieve their academic and personal potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ progress.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Provide training and resources to staff and families on effective communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field.
• Certification or licensure as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of developmental speech and language disorders.eff
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Reports to: 

The Speech & Language Therapist reports to the Department of Learning & Development and participates as a member of the teaching staff.
