Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the director on the end-to-end process of a bid. 

  • Identify resources, assign workloads, and manage schedules to ensure timely deliveries.

  • Closely follow up on the entire bid proposal response.

  • Define and execute the division’s strategic roadmap for Smart City and DC Facility offerings.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for infrastructure solutions including IoT, Power Solutions, Cooling solutions, renewable energy integration, and Tier-rated data centers.

  • Lead technical planning, RFP responses, and solution architecture for Tier II/III/IV facilities; electrical & mechanical systems (UPS, cooling, fire suppression), DCIM, NOC/SOC.

  • Develop account penetration strategies and lead RFP responses with a Smart City & DC Facility focus.

  • Oversee electrical load calculations, single-line diagrams, HVAC system sizing, fault current analysis, and cooling distribution design.

  • Lead the end-to-end architectural design of smart city systems (sensors, IoT gateways, etc.) and modular/data center infrastructure (power, cooling, structured cabling, monitoring, and automation).

  • Translate business and technical requirements into secure architecture blueprints.

  • Create tailored solution presentations, technical proposals, and scopes of work.

  • Do frequent customer meetings on new business opportunities in partnership with Vendors 

  • Register the business opportunities with Solution vendors. 

  • Attend contract negotiations 

  • Responsible for ordering process with Vendors/Distributors and monitoring the process until successful delivery to the customer 

  • Monitor contract deliveries and present a weekly delivery status report to the department Director. 

  • Monitor the import and logistics process for the successful delivery of contracts. 

  • Evaluating the division’s performance and identifying areas of improvement.

  • Providing technical direction and professional support to division personnel.

  • Ensuring that staff members comply with the policies and procedures of the division.

  • Assisting with employee recruitment, as well as overseeing the onboarding process and training of new division staff members.

  • Reviewing office operations and reporting any issues to senior management.

  • Working with the HR department to handle all inter-division disputes and conflicts.

  • Resolve business issues and ensure that all escalated issues are closed.

  • Address business inquiries from customers and team members in a professional manner.

  • Identify skill gaps and provide appropriate training to the team.

  • Guide team members and monitor their performance, discipline, and attendance regularly.

  • Identify areas of improvement and concerns and accordingly develop action plans.

  • Prepare a sales forecast pipeline and present a weekly report. 

  • Prepare the vendor certification plan and assign resources to prepare and become certified.

Required qualifications & Preferred Skills:

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT and related field. 

  • 6-7 years relevant experience out of which Minimum 2 years of direct experience in Smart City & DC Facility solution sales and presales roles.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and leading technical solutions.

  • Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Visio) and simulation tools (ETAP, CFD, energy modeling)

  • Deep experience in Data Center Systems: UPS, Switchgear, Cooling, Fire, DCIM, Access Control, Modular Builds

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills.

  • Leadership and The Ability to Take Initiative.

  • Deep understanding of the local market and regulatory environment.

  • ability to manage workloads efficiently and meet multiple deadlines
