SharePoint Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions within our SharePoint environment. This role requires a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, including front-end and back-end development, to enhance our business processes and collaboration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint applications using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint Online, and Office 365.
• Implement custom solutions that leverage HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and compatible modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Work closely with business analysts and project managers to translate business requirements into robust SharePoint functionalities.
• Customize SharePoint sites to meet company standards using SPFx, PowerShell, and other tools.
• Ensure the integrity and security of SharePoint data in accordance with business needs and industry best practices.
• Assist with migration from older SharePoint versions to SharePoint Online as part of our cloud integration strategy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing SharePoint applications and sites.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users to maximize their use of SharePoint solutions.
• Continuously update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals, and accessing new applications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer with strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, SPFx, Office 365, and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with React or Angular frameworks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud services is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse groups of people.

Desirable Skills:

• Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint or Azure.
• Experience with SQL databases and data integration tools.
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
