Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Infrastructure Sales Engineer to join our sales team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to engage with clients, understand their infrastructure needs, and provide innovative solutions that drive business success. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively will be key to winning over customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to understand their infrastructure requirements and challenges.
- Conduct needs assessments to tailor solutions that meet client specifications.
Technical Expertise:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in infrastructure solutions, including networking, cloud services, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Provide in-depth technical support during the sales process, helping clients understand the benefits and functionalities of our offerings.
Solution Development:
- Collaborate with sales teams to design and propose customized infrastructure solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to clients.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with product management and engineering to provide customer feedback and contribute to product enhancements.
- Assist in the creation of technical documentation, sales collateral, and training materials.
Market Awareness:
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to effectively position our solutions.
- Provide insights to the sales team to refine sales strategies and tactics.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Prepare reports on sales performance and pipeline status to share with management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical sales or pre-sales engineering role focused on infrastructure solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking, cloud computing, virtualization, and storage technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of successfully closing sales and achieving targets.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications related to infrastructure technologies (eg Cisco (CCNA, Cisco Sales Certificate) , Fortinet, Huawei, MS, Server Admin related certificate) are highly desirable.
- Experience working in a specific industry relevant to our infrastructure solutions.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and strategies for technical sales.
