Job Summary

The Salesman will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s comprehensive portfolio of agricultural, irrigation, and electrical equipment. This role involves identifying customer needs, recommending suitable solutions, and building long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales and a strong dedication to delivering quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell agricultural equipment, irrigation systems, electrical water pumps, and construction/electrical materials.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in both urban and rural markets.
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical information to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Coordinate with logistics and technical teams to ensure timely product delivery and support.
  • Stay informed on product features, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Represent KHLMEN TRADING PLC professionally at trade shows, exhibitions, and field visits.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the Sales Manager.

Location: Kirkos sub-city, Woreda 2, Meskel flower (behind Aysha Meskid)

Reports To: Sales Manager

Salary: based on the company’s salary scale

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, accounting, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in agricultural or electrical equipment.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Technical knowledge or willingness to learn about irrigation systems, pumps, and electrical materials.

  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, including remote areas.

  • Strong commitment to quality service, aligned with the company’s core values.
