  1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

A sales and cashier is an employee who takes on the dual role of helping customers with their product inquiries and facilitating the purchase of the customer. As a sales , the employee must be familiar with the different products offered by the company and should be able to direct customers to the product that best suits their needs. As a cashier, the employee must be familiar with the cash register and the system that the company uses to manage sales and facilitate payment. He/She or she must be able to work the equipment needed for a smooth checkout process.

  1. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Present , promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing / potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish , develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze  the market’s potential , track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs , problems , interests , competitive activities , and potential for new products.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, address their questions, and direct them to the appropriate pharmacy staff as needed.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately handle cash, credit card, and digital payments, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly through the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Compliance & Accuracy: Follow all company policies and guidelines, including the proper handling of returns, exchanges, and discounts, as well as adhering to any applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure that daily transaction records are accurate, balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift, and report discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales and other team members to deliver a seamless customer experience and support the company’s operational needs.

Terms to Employment :

  •  Permanent after successful completion of probation period.

  1. KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED

    Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets
  • High level of IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative
