We are seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Experienced Receptionist to join our dermatology clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to efficiently manage administrative tasks while providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Interaction:

    • Greet patients warmly as they arrive.

    • Schedule appointments, manage reschedules, and confirm appointments.

    • Provide patients with forms and ensure accurate information is collected.

    • Answer and manage incoming calls, address inquiries, and route calls as necessary.

  2. Administrative Duties:

    • Manage the clinic’s appointment calendarΒ 

    • Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

    • Process insurance verifications and assist patients with billing inquiries.

    • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and faxes.

  3. Clinic Coordination:

    • Liaise with dermatologists, nurses, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow.

    • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the reception area.

    • Order and manage office supplies for the front desk.

  4. Customer Service:

    • Address patient concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.

    • Provide patients with information about clinic services, procedures, and policies.

    • Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, including payment collection.

Location: Lagom dermatology clinic , around Bisrate Gebreal beside Lafto mall, Tsemex Apartment ground floor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a medical or dermatology setting.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in medical office administration are a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Personal Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of dermatological procedures and terminology.

  • Experience with insurance claims and billing processes.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
