Under the overall guidance and direct supervision of the CEO, the Procurement and Supply Chain Manager will take a leadership role in executing effective and efficient procurement and supply chain services in National Premix. Manage the entire process in the planning of procurement and supply chain activities, inventory control, logistics and distribution, ensuring effectively functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control the Procurement activities of National Premix. 

  • Directs and controls the compilation of complete and accurate data on materials and supplies for procurement, the preparation of bid documents, analysis of offers and selection of competitive suppliers.

  • Purchasing raw materials, replacement parts, auxiliary supplies, operating supplies and other items needed for the production process of Concrete to work.

  • Handles storing, organizing and shipping these materials to and from the warehouse.

  • product sourcing and selection policies, terms and conditions, communication and purchasing strategies to help keep the cost of acquisition as low as possible.

  • Arranging shipments, as well as complying with customs and regulatory bodies regulations and maintaining relationships with freight forwarders and coordinating their efforts

  • Develop and implement new systems, best practices, inventory control, demand planning, and other optimizations in order to grow the business

  • Enforces procedures to ensure proper recording, storage, tracking, incoming inspection of all items purchased by the Company

  • Manage the supply chain team to ensure that the team objectives set by the Managing Director are met.

  • Track employees’ performance versus their targets and milestones.

  • Establish key performance indicators, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against set goals.

  • Support the development of supply chain-based training materials and technical manuals.

  • Develop analytics, systems, and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports.

  • Address tactical and strategic supply chain issues. Identify and manage risk within the supply chain.

  • Support production planning and forecasting

PERSONS SPECIFICATIONS 

  1. Education:- BA or Master’s degree in procurement and Supply chain Management or any business related filed of studies with minimum 6 years and above in construction and batching plant related work experience

B. Knowledge, Skills, Competence:

  • Strong planning skills

  • Logical and systematic approach to work

  • Good time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines.

  • The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterally.

  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.

  • Negotiation and influencing skills.
