  • Roles and Responsibilities
     

    Key Account Management role strives to establish industry leading initiatives that influence the position of the business in the industry while building & maintaining a long-term relationship with the key accounts. Key elements of the role are Strategic thinking, Relationship building, Collaboration & Analytics with following objectives:

    – Growing and developing existing clients through accounting specific growth strategies

    – Building strategic relationships with major customers & delivering high value to customers with an objective to have loyal and long lasting customers.

    – Playing an integral role in new business pitches to the Senior Executives & Group Purchasing Organizations

    – Being a central, pivotal point of contact for the Key Accounts

    – Driving alignment within the whole organization to implement a customer based mode of operation for delivering the highest quality of services

    – Champion and Own the Account on following aspects 

              – Strategy, Business Model, Order to Cash Cycle, Product Usage, Product Challenges 

              – Customer Expectations vs Product Capabilities, Customer Value creation, and Total Solutions Approach

            – Key Accounts Manager is expected to create value and position Company portfolio along that value only

             – Communicating Account strategy via Business Plan to align Senior leadership within Company and mobilize resources as needed.

Education: BA degree in Pharmacy
Experience: at least four years on promotion of which one year should be in a multinational company

Skills:

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • In-depth understanding of company key customers and their position in the industry
  • Strong track record in technical sales/key account management in capital equipment or manufacturing-related services to pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device companies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
  • Basic computer skills, and experience with  Microsoft Office Suite
