Network Technician

Job summary:

The purpose of this position is to install and maintain the physical media and network connectivity infrastructure. These tasks include all from the node to rack side installations and activities, but are not limited to providing detailed analysis and documentation of all work conducted while working.

Key responsibilities:

•  Ability to handle physical installations, such as cabling, rack setup, equipment mounting, install trucking, racks patch panels, cable manager, switches, access points, and other network devices according to project requirements.
   
•  Proficiency in using networking related tools, such as puncher, crimper, network tester, fiber splicing machine, labelling machine.
   
• Hands-on experience with network devices, including routers, switches, different category of cables, and access.
   
• Able to work using drawings and designs
   
•  Conduct diagnostic tests and resolve connectivity issues related to hardware.
   
•  Using working materials properly and in a responsible way.
   
• Able to use computer and has basic knowledge of Microsoft office (MS excel, word power point…)
   
•  able to communicate with teams and staffs.
   
•  Able to update self in it related learning.
   
•  Willing to travel to any project sit

TVET level 2-4 by networking and above with 

•  COC or equivalent, or other technical certification are preferred.
   
•  1-3 years of field support experience in networking or related areas.
   
•  Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for on-site troubleshooting.
   
• Ability to travel frequently and work independently with minimal supervision.
   
•  Certifications like CompTIA a+, CompTIA network+, or cisco certifications are preferential.
