Market System Development Officer

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

Qualifications:-   

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or Sales Management.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Market System Development (MSD).

• Experience in value chain development is required, with basic knowledge and skills in feasibility studies, business plan preparation, value chain marketing, market system development, and report writing.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Strong writing, reporting, and communication skills.

• Good interpersonal relationships and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment.

• Proactive, participatory, and result-oriented approach to work.

• Excellent networking skills with the ability to establish good relationships and confidently engage with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.

• Experience in working with Women-Led Value Chain projects and income-generating activities.

• Experience in working with enterprises/private sector actors, labor market, financial market actors, and a good understanding of market system development.

• Fluency in Amharic and English.
