Manager – Sales and Marketing Department

Job Summary

The purpose of this job is to develop strategy, policies and procedures for sales and marketing activities; to plan, organize, and direct the operations of the department and ensure their effective implementation; to set goals and developing plans for the company business and revenue growth; to research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives; to research prospective accounts in target markets and pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle; to manage both the marketing and sales staff and to perform managerial duties to meet the company’s operational goals.

Education

• BA or MA degree in Marketing Management or related field of study         

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years for BA degree and 6 years for MA Degree relevant work experience out of which at least 2 years in supervisory/managerial position.

Desirable Skills

• Good leadership skill and emotional intelligence,

• Strategic thinking and strategic planning skill, 

• Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks,

• Computer literate with advanced skill in using MS Office, especially Excel and Word,

• Good verbal and written communication skills both in the Amharic and English languages.
