Manager – Production Operation

Job Summary

The purpose of the job is to lead and oversee the glass bottle forming department, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production in alignment with organizational goals. This role optimizes production processes, enhances operational efficiency, and ensures strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. By coordinating cross-functional teams, implementing continuous improvement strategies, and leveraging technical expertise, the Manager drives productivity, minimizes downtime, and ensures seamless workflow to meet both short-term and long-term business objectives.
 

Education

• BSc Degree or TVET level Certification in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.

• Candidates with training in Operation & Troubleshooting of IS machines, Quality Assurance & Defect Detection, Workplace Safety & Emergency Response, and Leadership & Team Management are preferred

Experience

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience out of which 2 years as a supervisor in Machine operation & continuous production line supervision, Industrial process optimization and Maintenance & quality systems management.

Desirable Skills

• Production planning & coordination expertise.

• Strong knowledge of glass-forming processes & equipment.

• Analytical & problem-solving skills to troubleshoot production challenges.

• Team leadership & personnel management abilities to drive performance.

• Communication & conflict resolution skills for effective team collaboration.

• Proficiency in Excel, production monitoring software, and digital reporting tools.
