Job Summary
DANFE is seeking a qualified Legal Aid Coordinator to oversee the establishment and management of two legal aid centers. The Legal Aid Coordinator will work closely with local justice actors, paralegals, and legal professionals to ensure effective service delivery for vulnerable groups.
Key Responsibilities/ Role

Plan, organize, coordinate and manage various trainings and other events.

Supports project managers by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with stakeholders and ensuring resource availability for the project team.

Oversee the establishment and operation of two legal aid centers.

Ensure that legal aid services are efficiently delivered and accessible to vulnerable groups.

Coordinate with paralegals, local lawyers, and justice sector actors to provide legal representation and advice.

Coordinate the allocation of project resources to ensure the project team has whatโs needed at the right time

Assign tasks to team members and help them understand whatโs expected from them in terms of project milestones and deliverables

Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables

Monitor service delivery, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to enhance the quality and reach of legal aid services.

Employment Type: One year Contract with possibility oh Extention as of the availability of Fund

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Law, Human Rights, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in legal aid, human rights advocacy, or justice sector coordination.

Strong understanding of Ethiopian legal frameworks and access to justice issues.
-
Experience working with vulnerable populations, including women, children, and marginalized groups.
-
Excellent stakeholder coordination and legal case management skills.

Strong reporting and communication abilities.
