Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a results-oriented Key Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with strategic retail and distribution partners within the FMCG division. This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction, driving revenue, and cultivating long-term business partnerships that contribute to sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Development & Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients including major retailers and distributors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, understanding their business needs and delivering customized solutions.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and coordinate cross-functional efforts to convert them.

Operational Coordination:

  • Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning based on client sales trends and seasonal cycles.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report on account performance metrics including sales volume, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.
  • Present regular business reviews and performance reports to internal stakeholders and client leadership.

Customer Issue Resolution:

  • Address client issues proactively and ensure timely resolution to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Escalate complex problems when needed, while ensuring continuous communication and transparency.

Market & Customer Intelligence:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Provide actionable insights to internal teams to enhance product positioning and customer engagement.

Candidate Profile
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced qualifications or certifications in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with strong organizational skills.
