Roles & responsibilities

Responsibilities including but not limited:

• Overseeing the deployment and upkeep of IT infrastructure, including biometric systems, databases, and networks, ensuring alignment of technical requirements and work in harmony with other components managed by the employer.

• Implementing and enforcing data protection protocols, ensuring all information is securely stored and handled in compliance with privacy regulations and Employer’s protocols. In collaboration with the employer, ensure that data security measures are integrated into the broader project framework.

• Providing real-time technical support and resolving issues related to hardware, software, or network systems, to  ensure minimal disruptions and maintain smooth operations during the registration process.

• Assessing training needs and conducting training sessions for internal and other relevant personnel on the use of IT systems, ensuring everyone involved in the registration process is proficient and supported.

• Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies in collaboration with the employer, ensuring that contingency plans are in place to maintain continuity in the event of IT-related issues.

• Working closely with the employer to ensure that IT systems and processes complement and support the overall objectives of the Employer initiative, facilitating seamless integration between technical and operational aspects of the project.

Technical Qualification, Educational and Experience Requirements

• Shall have a B.Sc/M.Sc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer engineering, Software engineering or related fields.

• Shall have 6/4 years of experience working on IT operations leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies, excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices. 

• Experience in monitoring IT solutions, debugging and troubleshooting; and experience in digital identity systems with knowledge of regional setups and large-scale enrollment operations is preferable.
