Insurance Officer

AHFA PLC is one of the companies in Midroc Investment Group . The company is mainly engaged in the production of OCHE Spaghetti, OCHE Macaroni, OCHE Shortening, OCHE Ghee and OCHE Ketchup importer of OCHE sunflower oil.

 DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans, organizes and implements insurance activities,

• Purchases insurance coverage for company assets,

• Fills out insurance reports or claims when damage occurs to property or vehicles,

• Resolves insurance claims,

• Renews insurance contracts and pays insurance premiums,

• Files insurance-related documents in soft copy and hard copy,

• Closely monitors insurance activities of property or vehicles,

• Implements policies, procedures and guidelines related to insurance matters,

• Monitors the purchase of insurance coverage, evaluates the coverage purchased,

• Investigates whether insurance claims are correct or not,

• Follows the premium recovery process,

• Monitors the completion of premium payments, and conducts a current market value survey of materials;

• Maintains good relationships with insurance companies,

• Renews property or vehicle insurance on a timely basis,

• Informs about new insurance coverage

Qualifications and Experience   

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or a similar field of study

•  2 Years of relevant working experience.
