Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the BDD Manager, the Fresh Sales Officer will support sales activities by identifying potential clients, assisting in customer acquisition, and learning sales processes. This entry-level role is designed for individuals with little to no prior experience but with a strong willingness to develop in sales and business development. The Fresh Sales Officer will participate in lead generation, market research, bid processes, and client engagement while gaining hands-on experience in sales strategies. They should be open to continuous learning and willing to take training to align with the company’s requirements and self-development goals.
Description of duties:
1. Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential clients.
2. Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
3. Support lead generation efforts and follow up on new business opportunities.
4. Assist in preparing and presenting sales proposals, reports, and product demonstrations.
5. Build relationships with new and existing clients under the guidance of senior team members.
6. Work closely with internal teams to support sales strategies and customer engagement.
7. Participate in bid preparation and assist in the development of RFP documents.
8. Support sales negotiations, contract discussions, and closing deals with mentorship.
9. Maintain and update client databases, tracking sales progress and activities.
10. Attend industry events, sales meetings, and networking opportunities.
11. Provide administrative support for the sales team, including documentation and reporting.
12. Stay updated on ADIU’s solutions and industry best practices.
13. Willingness to take training and continuously improve knowledge to align with company objectives.

Education

BSc. in computer science/ Electrical and computer engineer or relevant field of study
Work Experience:Β 
0 year of experience (internships or academic projects in sales/marketing are a plus).

Strong willingness to learn and develop sales skills.
Interest in ICT, infrastructure solutions, and business development.
Skills
– Proven ability to generate leads and close sales deals.
– Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
– Knowledge of ICT and infrastructure solutions is an advantage.
– Proven work experience as a Sales Representative and/or willingness to excel in sales and marketing.
– Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
– Experience in developing and presenting formal presentations to senior management and end users.
