About the Role

The Foreign Purchase Manager will lead all international procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality raw materials, equipment, and services from global suppliers. This role requires strategic sourcing expertise, strong supplier relationship management, and a deep understanding of international trade regulations and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, equipment, and supplies from international markets.
  • Identify and evaluate potential global suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent supply and address any issues promptly.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely shipment and delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs clearance, and import/export documentation requirements.
  • Analyze procurement expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market trends.
  • Work closely with internal departments, including production, finance, and quality control, to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Address and resolve supply chain disruptions to minimize impact on operations.

Requirements

Education;Β 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field

Experience;Β Β 

  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in foreign procurement or international supply chain management, preferably within the manufacturing or FMCG industry
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, import/export procedures, and global sourcing practices
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
