REPORTS TO: FINANCE DIRECTOR 

POSITION SUMMARY:** 

As a Food and Beverage Cost Controller, your primary responsibility is to calculate the costs of food and beverage items. You will also be involved in the short and long-term planning of food and beverage controlling and pricing strategies. Additionally, you will record data and generate periodic control reports to help maintain an appropriate inventory of food and beverage items for the entire hotel. You will need to adjust menu prices based on the cost information gathered and actively participate in menu engineering related to pricing.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within an upscale (4/5 Star) hospitality environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent analytical and reporting abilities 

  • Experience with accounting systems, SUN Systems, Micros, POS systems, and cost and inventory management systems 

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment 

  • High attention to detail 

  • Capability to work independently while also fostering teamwork
