Gross monthly salary of ETB 8,536.00 – ETB 9,667.00 plus ETB 4,320.00 Housing allowance and ETB 3,300.00 Transport allowance, depending on candidates qualification, experience and earning history |
Purpose of the Job:
- To ensure efficient, safe and proper movement of people and goods using assigned vehicle.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport goods and/or people to desired destination using assigned vehicle;Â
- Handle vehicle in a safe and secure manner;
- Responsible to washing vehicles and changing of tyres of the assigned vehicle;
- Get proper preventive maintenance service for the assigned vehicle according to schedule;
- Adjust, lubricate and service vehicle on time;
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repair of assigned vehicle;
- Notify Fleet Management Supervisor when major vehicle malfunctions occur;Â
- Report the use of vehicles and fuel to immediate supervisor;
- Report any accidents to the appropriate organs on time;
- Dispatch letters and documents as assigned;
- Ensure all areas and equipment is clean;
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Driving license.
- High School graduate (10th grade complete).Â
- Diploma or Certificate in Auto mechanic is a plus.
- 2 years of experience working as a Driver.
- Knowledge of Amharic is required. Knowledge of other local languages is advantageous.
