Summary of Position:

This role involves building trip itineraries and quotes, responding directly to customer inquiries, handling bookings and payments, and managing the company’s social media presence. We are looking for a warm, eager, “people person” with outstanding communication skills and a passion for assisting travelers. We value individuals who think outside the box, ask thoughtful questions, and demonstrate a balance of vulnerability and strength.

Job Duties:

  • Building and perfecting trip itineraries and quotes in Google Sheets.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Keeping accurate records of work expenses and trip payments.
  • Clear and constant communication with clients and team members.
  • Managing and growing the company’s social media presence, including posting, monitoring, and engaging with followers across platforms.
  • Serving as a role model for professionalism and high performance.
  • Performing out-of-office administrative duties such as banking and errands.

Compensation:

Payment is negotiable and based on the company scale, with final salary determined by the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skill set. Additionally, employees will earn a 5% sales commission on the total profits of trips they originate and sell.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work independently and make quality decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and meet deadlines.
  • Prior sales or marketing experience is highly valued.
  • Social media management experience is an asset.

Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma.
  • Two years of prior full-time work experience.
