As the company has grown rapidly in the last few years, we require a Deputy Manager. The deputy manager will report to the CEO and COO. They will have a broad range of responsibilities including day to day management of the Addis Ababa office.ย 

Responsibilities include:

  • Stepping in for the senior management when they are travelling or unavailable.ย 
  • Delegating tasks effectively to team members while taking responsibility for the outcome.ย 
  • Training new employees.
  • Reporting to the COO and CEO.ย 
  • Day to Day management of the Addis Ababa office.
  • Ensuring financial records and legal requirements are being followed.ย 
  • Motivating staff.ย 
  • Setting goals for employees.
  • Bi-annual employee performance review and development targets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.ย 
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Organisational skills.ย 
  • Interpersonal skills.ย 
  • High levels of computer literacy.
