Purpose of the Job
To lead the provision of legal advice on corporate matters, such as patents, contracts, labour agreements, regulatory measures, taxation, and intellectual property rights. It also includes leading the researching of cases, drafting contracts, developing diverse corporate procedures, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, drafting codes of conduct and litigating course.Â
Main Duties and responsibilities

    Lead NIGAT Corporate system in preventing, navigating, and resolving complex legal issues.

 Assist and advise NIGAT Corporate on establishing their policies, objectives, and procedures for their operations.

   Lead the introduction of and assure all relevant laws and outcomes are understood and obeyed by the corporate functions.

Lead the researching and resolving of legal disputes through the analysis of relevant laws, argument development, evidence collection, and legal representation.

 Guides the drafting, reviewing, completing, and filing of legal paperwork related to corporate operations.

 Examining and reporting any potential or existing legal issues to the relevant authorities.

 Guide the negotiation of contract terms, transactions, and settlements on behalf of the corporate function or BU involved (when requested).

  Ensuring all corporate processes, strategies, and actions comply with all relevant local, state, federal, and international laws.

  Managing multiple clients, cases, and legal activities that carry varying deadlines.

Perform additional assignments and tasks given by the immediate supervisor.Â

Qualifications
 Education
- MA/MSC and/ or BA/BSC Degree in Law or related fields.
Experience
-
MA/MSC with 8 years of experience and BA/BSC with 10 years of experience working as a lawyer, Legal Assistant.
Skills Required
-
Knowledge of the law and law firm processes
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Highly organized
-
Able to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
