  We need to hire a qualified and hard-working  Business Development Manager for our company immediately.Â
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager at 5x/ Fivex Investment S.C The Business Development Manager will be responsible for coordinating the vision, strategy, growth, resource management, and excellence of the investment management, promotion and consulting company and partnership with stakeholders and members. Specifically responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, utilizing analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs,managing sales taskforce  and providing excellent customer service. The role is based in Addis Ababa with flexibility for some remote work and travel .
Specifically, he/she will:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifying and Pursuing new business opportunitiesÂ
- Assess market trends and customer needs utilizing analytical skills
- Leadership and Operational management
- Managing sales task force in alignment with the vision and values of Fivex Investment S.C.Â
- Manage and implement business development tasks  and member and investor developmentÂ
- Develop strategic planning and ensure growth of services.
- Identify and develop resources needed to grow and support corporate and member investment portfoliosÂ
- Oversight, implementation, and management of the strategic objectives and deliverables of the investment management and Consulting company.
- Management of the general financial portfolio of the company inclusive of the preparation of annual budgets, monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Evaluation, monitoring, and management of the investment portfolioÂ
- Preparation of all Board of Director’s report for reporting to shareholders and membership.
- To assist in the formation, execution, and implementation of a Strategic Plan.
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, regulations, and policies, and any subsequent enabling legislation
- Preparation of monthly reports to the Board of Directors
- Oversight and management of the overall operations of the investment portfolio, membership development, internal and external cash controls, and monitoring and marketing of the company’s products and services.Â
- Coordinate and implement business development and marketing efforts of the company, develop marketing and sales strategies and lead sales task force including agents and partner institutions
- Manage the Security Register, Fixed Assets Register and ensure the maintenance and upgrade of the real property assets of the company.
- Represent the company at external functions and meetings
- Perform quarterly performance reviews of employees and those conducted by supervisory staff
Project planning and Management
- Ensure that services  are delivered dynamically, effectively and are meeting the needs of the members of investment clubs.Â
- Identify project timelines, assisting staff to manage work within those deadlines, ensuring that 5x projects are of the highest quality
- Monitor the day-to-day delivery of the programs and services of the company to maintain or improve quality.
- Promote active and broad participation by volunteers in all areas of the organization’s work.
- Maintain official records and documents, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
Human resources planning and management
- Interview and hire top talents based on business needs as agents, and employees .
- Determine staffing requirements for organizational management and program deliveryÂ
- Establish a positive, healthy and safe working environment in accordance with all appropriate legislation and regulations.
- Recruit, interview and select staff that have the right technical and personal abilities to help further the Institute’s mission
Financial planning and management
- Be responsible for developing and maintaining sound financial practices.
- Research funding sources, oversee the development of fund raising plans and
- write funding proposals to increase the funds of the Institute.
- Ensure that sound bookkeeping and accounting procedures are followed
- Administer the funds of the organization according to the approved budget and
- monitor the monthly cash flow of the Institute.

External Relations
- Establish sound working relationships and cooperative arrangements with
- community groups, local and international organizations.
- Elevate 5x’s profile, project its image and promote the brand
- through engaged representation at conferences, meetings, education/Women
- events, media outreach and public events.
 - Build and maintain relationships with local policymakers, union leaders, key
- stakeholders, interest groups, and elected officials

Publicize the activities of the company in consultation with the leadership , its programs and goals to agencies, organizations, and the general public.
