Now, we’re setting our sights on exciting new horizons: the US, EU, and Middle East markets, with a strategic focus on the Ethiopian Diaspora. We need a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Lead to spearhead this expansion and build a powerhouse BD team.

Your Mission:
– Drive International Expansion: Identify, research, and penetrate new business opportunities primarily within the US, EU, and Middle East markets, with a focus on the Ethiopian Diaspora.
– Build & Lead a Winning BD Team: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing business development team.
– Craft & Execute Strategy: Develop comprehensive business development plans and sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets.
– Forge Key Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and strategic partners.
– Analyze & Optimize: Monitor market trends, analyze performance data, and continuously refine strategies for maximum impact.
– Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market entry and client acquisition.
What You’ll Bring:
– Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
– 5+ years of progressive experience in Business Development or Sales leadership, with a proven track record of generating significant new business.
– Demonstrated experience in international market expansion, particularly with exposure to the US, EU, or Middle East.
– Strong understanding of diaspora communities and their market potential is a significant plus.
– Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate a high-performing sales/BD team.
– Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
– A strategic mindset with a results-oriented approach and a passion for achieving ambitious targets.
