Job responsibilities and duties:

  1. Ensure the current laws and regulations are implemented in the organization.
  2. Drafting or amending workplace social compliance procedures, employees contract agreements as per the legal terms and conditions, or buyer standards requirements whenever required. 
  3. Representing the company before legal bodies whenever required, drafting legal statements, and related activities. 
  4. Provide and/or facilitate internal or external compliance-related training for the effectiveness of the compliance policy/procedural management system. 
  5. Plan and carry out regular internal audits to ensure compliance with legal, buyer, and international standards in the plants to ensure effectiveness of the management system, report the nonconformities to respective departments / heads, and initiate corrective actions to improve the management system.
  6.  Grievance handling and conduct internal survey/interview to assess the company condition with the working procedure. Work on the highlighted gap with the concerned body. 
  7. Arrange and/or coordinate monthly anti-harassment and environmental health & safety meetings and address the issues with each concerned department and solve the issue.
  8. Assisting in the external audit and role in the minimization of audit hit rate. 
  9. Ensure the implementation of safety standards toward the company health and safety objective. Ensure availability of safety instruction, Safety signage and the like compliance-related awareness 
  10. Ensure aspects that have impact to the environment on the processes are identified and reviewed to meet with environmental laws and organizational objectives

  • Degree in Law with zero-year experience. 
  • Other field with Management, BA or other social fields minimum of 1 year’s experience in garment sector or in such activity 
  • ISO Standard (14000 or 18000 or 9001) knowledge will be an added advantage.
