? Position DetailsÂ
- Location: Assosa, EthiopiaÂ
- Contract Type: Full-time, PermanentÂ
- Reports To: School PrincipalÂ
- Works Closely With: Head of Education, Education Program Team, and fellow teaching staffÂ
Open Kindergarten Positions:Â
- KG Coordinator – Lead the kindergarten section and mentor the teaching teamÂ
- KG Main Teacher – Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and foster holistic developmentÂ
- KG Assistant Teacher – Support classroom activities, child care, and learning environmentsÂ
✨ What You’ll DoÂ
As KG Coordinator:Â
- Oversee all KG operations, ensuring curriculum quality and staff supportÂ
- Mentor KG teachers and coordinate with the school leadership teamÂ
- Ensure inclusive, child-centered learning experiencesÂ
 As KG Main Teacher:Â
- Plan and teach creative, play-based lessons that build core early learning skillsÂ
- Create a safe and engaging classroom environmentÂ
- Track student development and engage families in the learning processÂ
 As KG Assistant Teacher:Â
- Support the main teacher in lesson delivery and classroom routinesÂ
- Help maintain a warm, organized, and child-friendly environmentÂ
- Assist with hygiene, materials preparation, and activity facilitationÂ
For All Roles:Â
- A passion for working with young children and early educationÂ
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skillsÂ
KG Coordinator:Â
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Early Childhood EducationÂ
- 5+ years of experience, including leadership/coordination in KG settingsÂ
- Fluent in English and Amharic; strong organizational and mentoring abilityÂ
KG Main Teacher:Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related fieldÂ
- 3+ years of experience in KG teachingÂ
- Strong understanding of child-centered, play-based approachesÂ
- Fluent in English and AmharicÂ
KG Assistant Teacher:Â
- Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood EducationÂ
- Minimum 2 years of experience in KG or daycare environmentsÂ
- Basic English and Amharic communication skillsÂ
