Job Summary:

The Sanitary Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sanitation systems, including wastewater treatment plants, sewage networks, and waste disposal facilities. This role involves ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, minimizing environmental impacts, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create sustainable sanitation solutions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in waste management systems, advanced hydraulic systems, and proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plan, design, and oversee the construction and operation of sanitation projects, including wastewater treatment plants, sewage systems, and waste disposal facilities.
  • Develop sanitary design installations in alignment with architectural designs and project specifications.
  • Ensure all systems and operations adhere to local, state, and national regulations.
  • Utilize expertise in waste management, hydraulic systems, and sustainable practices to develop efficient sanitation solutions.
  • Conduct regular inspections and provide repair solutions to maintain the optimal functionality of sanitation systems.
  • Create detailed project designs and plans using AutoCAD and other relevant design tools.
  • Assess sanitation projects to reduce their ecological footprint and enhance environmental sustainability.
  • Stay updated with advancements in sanitary engineering technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

Prior experience in the design, development, and maintenance of sanitation systems is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for project planning and design.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, waste management systems, and sustainable engineering practices.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
