Job Summary:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing the financial operations, strategy, and compliance of the organization. This includes financial planning, risk management, financial reporting, and ensuring the company’s fiscal health. The CFO plays a key role in driving business growth, optimizing financial performance, and providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership:

Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business goals.

Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and senior leadership team.

Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).

Oversee compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.

Manage relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Risk Management & Controls:
-
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Strengthen internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets.

Monitor cash flow, investments, and liquidity management.
Operational Efficiency & Cost Optimization:

Analyze financial performance and recommend cost-saving measures.
-
Oversee procurement, investments, and capital structure decisions.
-
Drive financial efficiency across departments.
Cash Flow Forecasting & Planning

Develop short-term and long-term cash flow projections to ensure liquidity.

Identify potential cash shortages or surpluses and plan accordingly.

Align cash flow forecasts with business strategy (e.g., expansion, M&A, debt repayment

Treasury Team – Manages daily cash positioning, banking, and liquidity.

Accounting Team – Tracks receivables, payables, and financial reporting.

Operations/Procurement – Influences inventory and payment terms.

Sales & Business Units – Impact revenue collection and customer payment terms
Team Leadership & Development:
-
Lead and mentor the finance team (accounting, treasury, tax, etc.).

Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and high performance.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA preferred).

10+ years in senior financial leadership roles (CFO, Finance Director, etc.).

Strong understanding of financial concepts.

Technical Skills:
-
Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and ERP systems.

In-depth knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, tax laws, and corporate finance.

Proven ability to lead teams and influence executive decisions.
-
Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
