Manufacturing & Import and Export Company the HR Officer is a vital member of the Human Resources team, responsible for supporting the overall HR function by assisting with various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, and policy administration. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting employees and contributing to a positive work environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: 

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job descriptions, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing candidate communication. 

  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and training. 

  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation. 

Payroll and Benefits Administration: 

  • Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages and benefits.     

  • Manage employee benefits enrollment and changes, providing guidance and support to employees. 

  • Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policy. 

Employee Relations: 

  • Provide support to employees with HR-related queries, including benefits, leave requests, and policy guidance. 

  • Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and grievance handling.           

  • Assist with investigations of workplace misconduct or complaints. 

Policy Administration:             

  • Assist with the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures. 

  • Maintain compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. 

  • Track and report on HR metrics and performance indicators. 

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned. 

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion. 

  • Proactively identify and suggest improvements to HR processes and procedures. 

  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR role. 

  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. 

  • Proficient in using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • A positive attitude and a commitment to customer service.
