Currently, Horra Corporate Group business portfolio includes coffee and oil seeds export, coffee plantation, automotive assembly, import and distribution, propylene technology manufacturing, technology, Â real estate development and transit and forwarding. Currently, Horra Corporate Group is led by the CEO, Mr. Adm Kedir, and by qualified and experienced professionals, with 550 permanent staff members and 800 temporary workers working in the corporate office and in different business units.

We are currently looking for a talent which will work for its Polypropylene Technology factory to lead its warehouse operation.Â
Position Summary
The incumbent’s responsibilities will be to maximize efficient utilization of the company’s materials by planning, monitoring, and controlling the warehouse operation.Â
Duties and responsibilities:Â
- Develop warehouses management policy and guidelines and monitor their implementation.Â
- Oversee the preparation of invoices from store orders.  Â
- Monitor and guide the management of stock control and oversee the organization of warehouse pallets.Â
- Oversee the proper operation of forklift and machines in the warehouses and always ensure that safety is a priority in the warehouse operation.Â
- Monitor and follow up the management of warehouse inventory control system.Â
- Give guidance in downs stack pallets and provide assistance to organize the warehouse as needed.Â
- Oversee the inventory list and ensure the store items are kept accurate.Â
- Work closely with the plant manager and logistic teams to monitor the deliver items on schedule and stock levels.Â
- Oversee the system of delivery processes, approach and its coordination, initiate improvement when necessary. Â
- Oversee the management of finished goods release and provide feedback on oversight for loading operation.Â
- Lead the inspection, appraisal, administration, storage, protection and maintenance of materials.Â
- Oversee the functioning of the warehouse management system and recommend improvements as required.Â
- Develop and implement the Function’s strategic and operational plans and objectives.Â
- Develop, approve and monitor the Function’s budgets.Â
- Identify human resources requirements of the Function and develop plan for meeting the requirements.Â
- Lead the development, implementation and review of Functional policies and procedures.Â
- Review, approve and submit Function’s reports to relevant organs.Â
- Support the development of managers through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback.Â
- Manage disciplinary concerns of the Function’s staff.Â
- Represent the Company in external relationships related with the Function.Â

Participate in group decision making processes by forming part of different groups/committees. Â
Job Qualification

Education Qualification: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or in related disciplines. Â

Work Experience: At least six (6) years of demonstrated experience out of which three (3) years in a supervisory position for candidates with a masters education credentials or at least eight (8) years of demonstrated experience out of which four (4) years in a supervisory positions for candidates with a bachelor degree credentials.Â

Experience of working in a manufacturing sector.Â

Experience of working with a warehouse enterprise resource planning platform.Â

Proficiency in Office 365 is required.Â

Ability to work sensitively in a multicultural environment and build effective working relations with colleagues.Â
