ROLE PURPOSE:Â
The Warehouse Cleaner is accountable for keeping the warehouse environment clean, hygienic, and safe to increase overall efficiency and foster the well-being of our personnel, which is the responsibility of maintaining a consistently clean environment. This includes sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring cleanliness in shared spaces.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: Warehouse Officer
Staff directly reporting to this post: None
Key area of accountability  Â
- As per the agreed flexible working schedule daily clean, and keep the sanitation, the cleanliness and hygiene of the Warehouse complex to the best satisfaction of the organization.
- Ensure the safety of all working equipment issued to him/her for sanitation and safety of the organization
- Check all the property in the compound and ensure that everything is in good shape Wash utilities.
- Check all doors and windows, light and water, with in the warehouse compound to ensure that they are closed/or locked after being cleaned
- Report to the immediate supervisor cases of theft defect of light and doors and windows in the compound, leakage of water pipes and damage of fences
- Ensure effective and efficient use of all save the children resources to keep costs low and ensure the security of the staff
- Comply with all relevant Save the children policies and procedures with respect to child protection, health and safety, security, equal opportunity and other relevant policy

- Completion of 12th grade or 10th grade with current education system
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and NGO experience is preferable
- Good spoken of Afar, Amharic and English language
