- Prepare monthly and annual tax reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Make payment for all taxes due accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure documents required for tax are well organized and available upon request
- Prepare documents and data required by the tax authority and provide response upon request
- Ensure adherence and full compliance to all tax regulations of Ethiopia and local municipalities
- Review current and new tax laws and developments and update stakeholders accordingly
- Identify potential tax issues that may arise in tax dealings and recommend a solution
- Prepare monthly and annually income tax provisions
- Analyze tax related issues and recommend tax management optimization of the company
- Perform assignments provided by line manager related to tax operations Β
- A bachelorβs degree in accounting or finance related is a must.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a plus.
- Previous experience in tax operations in the tax authority and/or in a private organization for at least 3 years.
