Position Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, verify, and manage the inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for all medical items in accordance with pharmaceutical standards to maintain quality and efficacy.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate procurement requests to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical counts with inventory records.
• Implement and adhere to First Expiry First Out (FEFO) inventory management practices.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical storage and distribution.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of inventory.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the storage area to meet health and safety standards.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Proficiency in inventory management software is an advantage.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Good Storage Practices (GSP) in pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) with 0 years of experience, or a Diploma in Pharmacy (Druggist) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Valid professional pharmacy license is mandatory.
• Basic computer skills are required.
