Purpose of the job
The Social Media Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content, managing online communities, and analyzing performance to enhance the organization’s online presence and engagement. The incumbent will be a key player in building a strong and positive brand image through effective social media communication.
Key responsibilitiesÂ
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the organization’s overall marketing and business goals.
- Conduct research on social media trends, best practices, and other activities.
- Identify and leverage relevant social media platforms for maximum impact.
- Create high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos) for social media platforms.
- Manage and maintain the organization’s social media accounts, ensuring consistency.
- Curate and share relevant content from external sources.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms.
- Engage with online communities and build relationships with followers and stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions and foster a positive online environment.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, website traffic, etc.).
- Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance.
EducationÂ
- BA Degree or BSC Degree or Collage Diploma in Communication  or Public Relation or Journalism or  Information System or related fields.
ExperienceÂ
- 2 Years of experience for level 3 or collage diploma or 0 year for BA/BSC in social media marketing or managing and growing the company’s social media presence or engaging with audiences or  driving brand awareness or generating leads or in related activities.Â
