Service Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Service Engineer to oversee the daily maintenance operations and ensure the smooth functioning of all technical and engineering systems in our hotel. This role involves supervising a team, managing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, and contributing to the guest experience through timely and effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the engineering team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintenance standards.

• Plan, execute, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain guest satisfaction.

• Monitor and optimize energy consumption to ensure cost-efficiency and sustainability.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local regulations, hotel standards, and safety guidelines.

• Oversee spare parts inventory and assist in preparing the maintenance budget.

• Conduct technical training sessions to enhance the skills of the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering or maintenance roles, preferably in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergencies.
