Job Purpose:
The Senior System Development Officer in the CEO Office plays a mission-critical strategic and technical leadership role, responsible for developing, managing, and securing enterprise-wide systems and information that empower the CEO and executive leadership to make timely, accurate, and evidence-based decisions.
This position is entrusted with the planning, deployment, and administration of a centralized and secure Data Center, which serves as the backbone for real-time reporting, cross-functional integration, and strategic monitoring across the company. The role demands advanced expertise in system architecture, data analytics, and MIS, combined with sound judgment and a keen understanding of how technology supports corporate strategy at the highest level.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Enterprise System Design and Integration

Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure information systems tailored to OVIDโs operational and strategic needs.

Ensure systems are fully integrated across departments to provide real-time visibility of business activities to the CEO.

Lead the implementation and regular upgrade of platforms that enhance internal controls, data consistency, and reporting efficiency.
Data Center Architecture and Management

Plan, deploy, and manage a modern, centralized data center serving as the core infrastructure for secure data storage, analytics, and business continuity.

Monitor system uptime, redundancy, backup protocols, and disaster recovery readiness of the data center to ensure 100% availability of mission-critical data.

Enforce strict access control, firewall protections, and encryption standards to safeguard corporate intelligence and sensitive performance reports.

Oversee server management, data synchronization, system load balancing, and virtual machine operations as required for scalability and resilience.
Executive-Level Reporting and Analytics

Develop and deliver high-impact performance dashboards and custom analytical reports that equip the CEO with real-time strategic insights.

Generate weekly and monthly summaries on:

Strategic project performance

Operational KPIs across departments

Business risks and exceptions

Budget and cost efficiency monitoring

Provide on-demand reports for Board meetings, investor reviews, or urgent decision-making sessions.

Automate reporting cycles through advanced tools such as Power Business Intelligence (Power BI), Tableau (a data visualization tool), Structured Query Language (SQL) queries, and real-time data connectors.
Strategic Data Analysis and Decision Support

Drive complex data analysis to forecast trends, highlight anomalies, and recommend corrective actions for executive consideration.

Build simulation models and โwhat-ifโ analysis scenarios for the CEO to evaluate high-stakes business decisions.

Interpret data from diverse sources including ERP systems, CRM, finance platforms, and operations dashboards.
Digital Transformation and Process Automation

Lead initiatives to digitize manual workflows and replace legacy systems with integrated, smart platforms that enhance speed and reliability.

Promote adoption of intelligent automation tools to reduce repetitive tasks, ensure data accuracy, and improve turnaround time.

Identify gaps in data collection and recommend solutions that enhance reportability and transparency.
Governance, Confidentiality, and Compliance

Establish and maintain data governance policies for accuracy, accountability, and compliance with internal controls.

Maintain absolute confidentiality of performance indicators, management communications, and executive decision-making documents.

Ensure compliance with national and international data security, privacy, and IT management standards.
CEO Office Technical Support and Coordination

Work closely with the CEO to interpret business needs into system requirements and reporting mechanisms.

Act as a technical liaison with internal departments and external vendors as needed to ensure CEO needs are met efficiently.

Coordinate with HR, Finance, Logistics, and other functional units to collect and validate data inputs for integrated reporting.

Minimum Education:
-
Bachelorโs degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.

Preferred: Masterโs degree in MIS, Data Analytics, Digital Innovation, or a relevant business-technology program.

Experience:
-
At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in system development, executive reporting, or enterprise analytics roles.

Proven experience preparing and presenting data reports to CEOs, Executive Committees, or Boards.

Solid background in data center operations, ERP systems, and enterprise architecture.
