Job Description:
- Site manager oversees and coordinates construction project, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Their key responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage work schedules and timelines.
- Coordinate between subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team.
- Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site and Monitor progress, ensuring tasks are completed according to the plan.
- Address and resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently.
- Enforce health and safety regulations on-site and Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and legal regulations.
- Ensure construction meets design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
- Act as the main point of contact between the employer, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
- Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders.
- Document and report on-site activities and issues.
- Monitor expenses and keep costs within the agreed budget.
- Address unexpected challenges and delays.
QualificationsÂ
Qualification:Â MSc in Civil Engineering, agricultural engineering or related field from well recognized University
Experience:Â Minimum 10 years of experience in horticultural projectsÂ
Language Requirement:Â Proficiency in English, Amharic and Afan Oromo
