Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the BDD Manager, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, promoting ADIU’s solutions, and driving revenue growth. The role requires building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions to meet business objectives. The Sales Officer will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets, managing client accounts, and contributing to overall business expansion.
Description of duties:
1. Identify potential clients and develop a strategic approach to engage them.
2. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competition, and customer needs.
3. Generate leads and follow up on potential business opportunities.
4. Develop and present compelling sales proposals and product demonstrations.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
7. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals effectively.
8. Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports on progress.
9. Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.

10. Work on bids and assist in the development of RFP documents.
11. Follow the sales process with new and existing customers to conclusion.
12. Collect and analyze information and prepare data and sales reports.
13. Prepare a marketing strategy to attract customers and maximize sales revenue.
14. Conduct regular market surveys and research.
15. Stay updated on ADIU’s products, services, and market positioning to provide expert advice to clients.

Education

BSc. in computer science/ Electrical and computer engineer or relevant field of study
Work Experience:

2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.

Skills
– Proven ability to generate leads and close sales deals.
– Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
– Knowledge of ICT and infrastructure solutions is an advantage.
– Proven work experience as a Sales Representative and/or willingness to excel in sales and marketing.
– Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
– Experience in developing and presenting formal presentations to senior management and end users.
