Senior Network Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Network and Hardware Engineer to join our team. The ideal Candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and Hardware infrastructure in data center environments and other company work locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and Servers.

• Perform network trouble shooting and diagnostics to ensure smooth operations.

• Handle cabling, rack mounting, and hard ware deployment in data center environments.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security and efficiency in network operations.

• Conduct routine maintenance and system upgrades.

• Provide technical support for network-related issues at various work sites.

• Document on figurations, issues, and resolutions for future reference.

Experience: At least 3 years of hands-one experience in network and hardware support.

Certification: Must be certified in Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) or Huawei (HCIA/HCIP).

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware installation, and troubleshooting techniques.

Language Requirement: Must be proficient in Afaan Oromo.

Flexibility: Willing to work at different company project locations.

Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to diagnose and resolve network and hardware issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in data centers or large-scale IT infrastructure projects.

• Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions.

• Additional certifications in cyber security or advanced networking.
